Toshiba's New Codefree Converting DVD Recorder.

The World Wide version DR-1 lets you record on blank DVD-R discs in PAL! Being a Codefree, it plays all PAL DVD movies on PAL-NTSC TV.  DR-1 is a codefree all-zone DVD player with progressive-scan output for an improved picture with an HD-compatible TV. It makes PAL or NTSC DVD recordings on re-writable DVD-RW discs, write-once DVD-R discs or DVD-RAM (for playback on nearly all current DVD players from most brands).
